Inclusive Activities

For those with special educational needs and disabilities, many of our sessions are Pan disability – a term referring to the inclusion of all forms of disability, encompassing physical, learning, sensory and mental health conditions, in a single activity rather than separating people based on their specific impairment.

The below sessions are run by our friendly team at Alive:

Inclusive Sports

Ability Counts
Multisport

  • Age range: 5yrs+
  • Where: Lynnsport
  • £18 per month payable by Direct Debit
  • When: Thursdays, 5pm-6pm

A Pan disability session with a range of sports from wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, volleyball, racket sports, boccia and goal ball.

  • When: Saturdays, 9am-10.30am

School Sessions

Our Active Community Team will come to your school to deliver SEN and Pan disability sessions tailored to your pupils needs.

Adapted
Sports Day

We deliver a yearly Adapted Sports Day for SEND children which schools can attend at Lynnsport.  Keep an eye on our events page for more information!

External Organisation Sessions

The below inclusive sessions take place within our centres and are organised and delivered by external organisations:

Ride
United

  • Age range: All Ages
  • Where: Lynnsport
  • When: Fridays, 2pm-6pm

 
An adapted cycling session for all abilities including those with complex needs.  Ride United have a range of adapted cycles from 2 wheels, hand cycles, trikes, wheelchair cycles and electric bikes.  Come and join the fun in a safe traffic free environment on the athletics track with the Ride United team.

West Norfolk Autism Group Gymnastics Session

  • Age range: 3yrs+
  • Where: Lynnsport
  • When: Fridays, Varied

 
Sessions delivered by Alive King’s Lynn Gymnastics expert coaches specially tailored to meet the needs of West Norfolk Autism Groups members.  Sessions include 121 for those aged 16+ and fun group sessions for those aged 3-15.

Games
