Children from the age of 18 months can have fun and develop their gymnastics skills under the guidance of our fully qualified coaches.
Gymnasts progress through our award scheme from Pre-School Gymnastics, through to our Recreational Gymnastics programme where talented gymnasts are invited to train with our Elite squads to develop their skills and work towards competition level.
Our Spring Award Scheme provides the foundation for teaching high quality gymnastics in a fun, friendly and inspiring environment. Gymnasts will progress through the 8 levels learning new skills in a fun and challenging environment.
The gymnastics programme is a continuous booking and assessment programme. Speed of progression is dependent upon the individual and all gymnasts will progress when the competencies of the grade have been consistently achieved – medals and certificates are awarded to mark individual achievements.

Pre-School Gymnastics
A fun structured class, featuring weekly themes which teach young gymnasts essential physical, motor and social skills. Gymnasts progress through our Spring Awards scheme which provides the foundations for their next steps in gymnastics.
Adult & Child Pre-school 18 months – 3 yrs (Children must be accompanied by 1 adult).
Independent Preschool 3-4 yrs (adults remain on the viewing balcony).

Recreational Gymnastics
Spring Awards
Our “Spring Awards” scheme is for gymnasts aged 4 years and above. featuring 8 levels, with skills designed to teach gymnasts the foundations needed to reach their full potential. Gymnasts progress through the levels learning new skills such as balance, strength, flexibility and co-ordination in a fun and challenging environment.
Gymnasts progress through the levels, with medals and certificates awarded on completion to mark individual achievements.

Elite Gymnastics
Talented gymnasts are invited to train with the Elite training squads and compete for Alive King’s Lynn Gymnastics.
The club has training squads in Acrobatics and Tumbling and has an enviable record competing at County, Regional and National level.
- Acrobatics is a discipline where gymnasts work in pairs and groups using an Olympic size floor creating a routine of dance, tumbling and balancing elements
- Tumblers create a run of somersaulting elements linked together and performed on a tumble track
All Elite squad gymnasts will compete in friendly in house competitions.

Fun parent led drop-in sessions for children to enjoy trampolining, soft play and fun on the gymnastics equipment.
